		<description>Marty, I agree with most of your comments.  Especially the last paragraph.  It&#039;s only matter of when, not if, your significant other will fail you.  And I actually believe that when you understand and accept that fact it makes your relationship stronger.  Because when you inevitably get hurt it&#039;s easier to forgive the other person.  I&#039;ve known plenty of people who bailed because it suddenly wasn&#039;t perfect anymore and in their mind if it wasn&#039;t perfect it clearly wasn&#039;t the right relationship.

When Katie and I got married six and a half years ago, we knew it would be tough.  But we made a commitment that there would be no magical escape hatch.  And it has been tough.  But our relationship is stronger than ever.</description>
