The trouble with the internet
I can’t tell you how many people have found my blog in the last week because of the troubles going on at Landmark Church in Cincinnati. Actually, I can tell you…
23 people alone on Friday and Saturday (as of 1:30 pm) have seen my blog because they’ve been looking for gossip or bashing material on Matt, my uncle, or Lonnie, my mentor.
Sorry chaps, you won’t find any of that here. But you can find that here. So please go look for gossip and backbiting elsewhere.

what exactly is going on? you can’t just post something like “I’m so good for not gossipping about someone” and not expect me to wonder what gossip you’re not sharing….
Matt Holman is a great man. It is through his ministry that I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I miss him a whole lot. I pray that the Lord will bless Matt and all of his family. May the Lord also provide for Lonnie! I will follow that man any place that he goes if I can!
Not looking for gossip it is everywhere. I was doing searching to see if I could find Matt. It has been a couple of years since I went to Landmark. Matt is a great man and has helped our family in ways that no one can imagine.
If you talk to him tell him we are praying for him and the family.

I have know Matt for years and was a member also of landmark some 23 years ago under
Dr John. My heart goes out to Matt who is my brother in Jesus Christ and also a good fiend.
Who when My wife and I were going through a very scary operation for her, he showed up the
morning of the operation and prayed for her. We were at a strongman service about 3 months
before when Faye told Matt about her special need and he said that he would be there and he
was.
So I pray for him now and Landmark Baptist Church that God will heal and make Landmark the
strong lighthouse it has always been.

Well anybody who knows me, knows that Matty is my dearest friend. I love the whole (Holman) clan. There will be no gossip by me or to me unless the one doing the gossiping is fond of black eyes and broken noses! No really – If we talk about anyone, let’s do it on our knees and talk to someone who can do them some good!!!
Don’t many of the details of what is happening at Landmark or with Pastor Holman, do know that the enemy is always on the attack even in our churches trying to cause discontent, arguing, back biting, gossip, lies and so on. All of our pastors need to be lifted in prayer every day as well as our church leaders, our trustees and our deacons. I think the world of Pastor Holmon and his family and my heart heart for them and for the members of Landmark Church. I pray for God’s healing wherever and however it is needed, I pray for overwhelming love and support for Pastor Holman and his family, and I pray for God’s directing in all the affairs at Landmark Church. I am reminded of what is said in Micah 6:8,”He has shown you O Man what is good and what does the Lord require of you, to love mercy, act justly and walk humbly befor your God”
