Ignoring rules, entities, and expectations does not lead to truth, freedom, beauty, or creativity. But niether does mindlessly submitting to these things. The midevil mind set said "God is order. Therefore following every rule established by every person is the highest good." The modern mind set promised that we can become like God if we follow those rules, that understanding is a path to domination and domination is desirable. Post modernism at it's worst, destructive, nihlistic post modernism says "It's so clear that God isn't only about order. Therefore, God must be a God of chaos. Let's throw out the baby with the bathwater and abondond form, structure, rules, expectations." Post modernism, at its best says "God is the God of both order and chaos. Satan will attempt to use both order and chaos for his own desires, and we can attempt to do the same. Finding and embracing the sweet spot that exists between mindless submission and total abondon to rules, systems, and expectations is the real mission of our lives, because that where God is.
