  1. I did. Here’s how and why: http://www.reluctantrepublicansformccain.com/blog/?p=544

  2. Ok,

I’m kinda bummed this turn around…my Mom went to the voting spot in my town this morning to vote and she looked at the registration list and didn’t see my name! I’ve registered, but I was unaware that if you don’t vote in just over 4 years, they drop you off the list. I was unaware of this. I was out on business all 3 months the last vote and (to be honest) back then I didn’t care so I did not do any type of absentee ballot. So needless to say, my vote will NOT count this time around, but here is how I WOULD have voted:

    President: John McCain

    Question 1: Vote no

Question 2: I’ll get to that in a minute

Question 3: Vote to abolish dog racing

Question 2 is kind of a tricky one for me. I know that pot is wrong and as a Christian, know the churches views on keeping your body as a temple. However, I’m also a firm believer in cutting costs and saving each citizen tax dollars for useless felonies and posession. I’ve thought long and hard over this and thought, if cops spent more time hunting down sex offenders, drug lords, gang leaders, murderers, rapists… and not wasted all their time on pot smokers, maybe, just maybe this state would be a little better. I’ve never smoked it, never will. But I think there are bigger issues than fighting over the petty. If you vote no (keep the laws the same I believe), then we keep going down the road we’re on and clog up the judicial system with nonsense (which obviously doesn’t help anyways because they are always repeat offenders!)…if you vote yes, then now you’re saying it’s O.K. to smoke pot. Well that’s not good either! Tricky question. Gut instinct, I’d vote yes. What does the church feel about this doosie?

  3. I received a text saying that because the polls were getting over crowded that Obama voters needed to vote on Wednesday. I guess you’ll have to ask me when I voted :)

  4. I hear Obama hates foster care and is going to deport all children without parents to Africa on container ships.

I think it’s made up though, cause Africa doesn’t have any ports large enough for real ships to dock.

Either way, I didn’t vote cause I was irrisponsible and didn’t apply for an absentee ballot soon enough. What a surprise!

  5. Also, who did you vote for Marty?

Since you are not a conservative or a liberal, and are are completely independant minded and always know what is best and can’t be swayed by the media or books or other people . . .

You need to answer your own blog.

  6. I too didn’t think about absentee ballots until yesterday, actually. O well. I would have sent in the form blank anyways.

  7. McCain…he was the better of two bad choices.

  8. voted for mcain
why? because I like freedom of speech, guns, babies, Jesus, and keeping the money I earn

  9. I changed my mind and voted for Mccain.

    Just kidding.

  10. I was with America on this one.
