Can't you just see it, the beginning is some sort-of montage of the sorts of things we all wish we were doing, to some cheesy Sarah Machlacan song. The first three seasons of the show are great but then they start to run out of realistic plot ideas and they want to keep the tension high, so they reveal in the fourth season that Darren is really a sociopathic killer and Carrie is a space alien.
