I had a hard time reading it at the time, in fact, after reading just one page, I was so moved to tears that I didn't open it up to read it for at least a year. I thought about reading it, but I was, I think, fearful of the "passion, beauty, and ideals" it would awaken within me, things I hadn't thought of in years, things I hadn't allowed myself to feel in years, things I wasn't ready to re-live.
