marty- truth 1- we missed you at the study.
truth 2- there were a lot of us.
truth 3- it got way to philisophical for my taste i thought my head was going to explode
truth 4- i hate discussing things to death, i'm an "Activator" and the fact that we made zero progress in trying to choose a service project is all i'll say about that.

Uhhmmm. You didn't link "this" guy or "this" guy above, just for the record.
And I don't get it. Maybe you can explain it to me:
#1) Why does anybody root for a team? It's not like the Boston Red Sox all come from Boston... If this were the case, then atleast there'd be some primal territorial caveman thing happening. But as it is, it's really just like people are fans of marketing, or the money that lures the best players or something.
#2) Why do people care who others are fans of?
I don't even mean these questions with any sarcasm. I'm seriously trying to understand.
Hope you're feeling better,
Jeff

I know it's a Canadian thing, but what about the Pittsburg Penguins? Their captain Sidney Crosby, is from Halifax, Nova Scotia, just an hour from my home.
