It's not that big of a deal that they switched "Jesus" for "Shepherd" - last time I checked, that was one of the names of God was it as sincere as it could have been had it been sung by a true Christ follower - probably not . but again.. better to have the name of our Lord sung about then not at all. This debate is really splitting hairs - reminds me of the KJV battle. I saw a video the other day - it was this guy in a band I like (not Christian by any stretch) playing "Amazing Grace" on an acoustic. He did a great job playing it, but the difference was.. you can tell when someone sings about the Savior, and someone actually knows Him. i have some thoughts.. ;)

It was just an attempt to get into the pockets of Christians. Then I thought if the producers really agreed with the message of that song and thought that it aligned well with there "idol gives back" project they wouldn't have taken Jesus out of the first verse. I am going to sound like Simon and say "I didn't get it" this is the text book definition of "indulgent."
